हाये मैं क्या करुँ ़़़़़़ इशारों इशारों की बाते मुसीबत वो बातों ही बातों में रातें मुसीबत कहाँ जा के ग़म को हंसाएं बता दे मुहब्बत में हर रोज़ घातें मुसीबत अपने खास अन्दाज़ में किसी और का ये शेर पढ़ते हुए कछार के एक नाकाम शायर मिसरा कछारी धन्नों की गली से होकर गुजर रहे थे। बहुत ही भारी भरकम और दर्द भरी आवाज़ थी। ऐसा लग रहा था कि धन्नों की गली से कोई तूफान गुज़र रहा हो। थोड़ी ही देर के बाद एक और आवाज़ सुनाई दी, वो आवाज़ थी एक धक धक शायर तोतले दीवान की। किसी ज़माने में वह रुस्तम भाई के शागिर्द हुआ करते थे। वह रुक रुक कर ये शेर पढ़े जा रहे थे- मुहब्बत की धड़कन पे गाना किसी का ज़माना हुआ दिल दिवाना किसी का न आहें भरो अब न शिकवे करो तुम ये सुन लो अभी ख़त पुराना किसी का ऐसा ही शेर किसी ज़माने में मुहब्बत के सताये हुए एक शातिर दिमाग़ हरामखोर शायर हमीद दिलावरी भी पढ़ा करते थे। हरामखोर इसलिये कि वह जिस किसी से कुछ लेते, उसे जल्दी वापस नहीं करते। तकाज़ा कराते। किसी से ग़ज़ल लिखवाते तो उसके बदले कुछ रकम देने का वादा करके नहीं देते। उधार खाना तो उनकी रोज़ की आदत बन गई थी। उनकी इन्हीं आदतों ने उन्हें हरामखोर बना दिया था। वो फरमाते हैं कि- सभी दिल के दुश्मन हैं ऐ ज़िन्दगी सुन किसी से गिला अब न कर आशिकी सुन जो लिक्खा है किसमत में होता रहेगा कभी कम न होगी मेरी बन्दगी सुन अपनी बेगम से हमेशा परीशान रहने वाले एक मनहूस और कामचोर शायर मुहब्बत के...
